Newest Addition

The kids happily welcomed the newest addition to our outdoor toy collection. Thanks to good friends of ours who's kids have outgrown this beautiful contraption...Addi & Bry are in toy love. Oh yes and our staining project continues. here is a great picture of before and after on our back gate.

Wonderful Maternity Shoot

This was the sweetest couple...so happy and loving. They have the luckiest baby in the world!

A fine day..

Birthdays come and go just like any other day I suppose. I did think today was nice - dinner with the family (that I didn't have to cook), cheesecake and a walk around the neighborhood. Not bad, we should do it again soon!

Happy Birthday to me....

So I have been wanting to do a self portrait for a long time, why I don't know, maybe just to show off the power of photoshop? I was going to show before and after shots, but I just can't. Not thrilled about the after and the before was downright frightening! So here I am, in pajamas, no makeup - all 42 years of me. Can't believe where life has taken me - wife, mother, nurse, and now photographer. So amazed at how things turn out - definately not what I had planned but I wouldn't change a thing!

Storm finally...

So we spent the day playing inside because it was so hot out but thankfully an actual monsoon came through and we got rain! It was a wonderful, torrential downpour - perfect! Addi was enjoying it. We spent the rest of the afternoon sewing while Bry was sleeping and of course playing with the camera. Just can't stay away from it.

Lazy day...

So it's my day off and I should do something more exciting than laundry but I'm just not sure where or what. Looking through pictures this am and thought I had to post this one of Addi. She can be such alittle angel.

Lunch date

So since we thought our ac was going to be down today (fuse box burned up - yes we are lucky the house didn't catch on fire) I decided to join the girls for lunch. Was a nice outing - the kids had fun, food was good. Always nice to see and talk with other working moms who have small kids. Not in this alone, even though it often feels that way.

What an evening

Somedays just tax you in every way possible. Addi fell head first into our outside toy box- she was stuck and scared. Pulled her out and she was so upset and crying so hard that she threw up, of course we had just eaten dinner. Bry is screaming too because he's scared by the whole thing as well. Got everyone cleaned up (I took the brunt of the barf) and Addi goes back outside to play and falls off her slide - more tears from everyone. We decided to go for a walk - seems to be a safe activity, went to visit the neighbors, saw Uncle Jay and his new dog, Cinch. Now its time for bed thank goodness. Was feeling alittle crazy artisitc with the photoshop tonight. Fun to do different things.

Never get tired of these faces

Even though I am currently having to fight with Bry to get his pajamas off and for Addi to stay in the house -hysterical crying from both of them - I love their little faces (and photographs don't make noise)....:)

All about the boy

My little man is growing up so fast. Can't believe he will be 2 years old in September, seems right around the corner. Life lesson learned today - how to drink out of the hose! love the two of them together even though it is alittle blurry - still cute.
