Busy Weekend

It has been a busy week around here....last week on Friday the kids had their annual trikathon at school. It was a fun event - Addi did 75 laps on her Strider bike and Bryton did 57. My coaching and competitive side comes out - spent alot of time yelling and encouraging the kids to keep going, haha...hope they choose to do sports of some kind when they get older.

After the bike event we left on a weekend camping trip with friends. The kids had a wonderful time riding the quads, playing and sitting around the campfire.

We got home on Sunday afternoon and unfortunately, on Monday our heeler, Quigley, passed away. Rough day for the kids. He will be missed but is in a better place now for sure.

Yesterday was mother's tea at school. We had a nice time. Addi enjoys singing - Bryton not so much. It was still fun and they looked adorable as usual!

True Colors

So just to show you what we deal with on a more regular basis - Bryton in true form! This face is a daily occurence, multiple times unfortunately. He has such a temper and is soooooo stubborn....tries my patience most days. Good thing he is super cute right? And then there is Addi - not sure if it is the age difference or just the fact that she is a girl - so easy going and happy, such a little love. We love them both equally - just one is alittle more fun to hang out with right now :)

Everything is a competition

So not to be outdone - addi had to get her picture taken as well. She is ridiculously cooperative these days especially since she gets "paid" to model - a quarter per session! Hoping she saves all that money - she will be a wealthy little girl :)

Sometimes he is cooperative!

Not very often that Bryton is really cooperative with picture taking, so I definately take advantage of the opportunity when it arises. Testing out some new techniques and lighting. Bry was very interested in all of it - maybe he will be my little photographer!
