Halloween 2013

Trick or treating was a great success tonight - the weather was nice, the people were generous and the candy buckets got filled. Everyone is now asleep and the holiday has come to an end. They love Halloween - next year will be here before we know it.

Fall and Halloween

Wow - can't believe it has been so long since I have posted anything. This is such a busy season - photo sessions almost every night plus hunting, gymnastics, school and work - life is really busy but we are having fun.

Here are a few from the past couple days. Kids went with me on a photo shoot so of course I had to sneak a few of them in - and of course our first Halloween party. There is another one on Halloween so we will have different costumes to show off then :)

Time

So sorry that I haven't been posting very much lately. We, I, have just been so busy - there are never enough hours in the day and I just feel behind on everything. All is well though. Kids are busy and enjoying school and gymnastics. I will take pictures there one day so you can see them working out - it is pretty neat and they are really learning and getting better.

Can't believe October is almost upon us - the kids are already excited for Halloween. Fall break is in a few weeks and the elk hunt is quickly approaching as well. This month will fly by as well I'm sure.

Sunflowers

So we did attempt to get some photos with the sunflowers this evening and with a storm rolling in we didn't have a lot of time. I did however get a picture that I like - a lot - so will probably have a canvas made for my studio or the house - not sure yet.

September

Can't believe that summer is over and we are onto the school year and heading into the holidays. How does summer go by so fast?

I have been busy with pictures of other people and neglecting taking pictures of my own :( So trying to get them out into the sunflowers for some pictures this evening - we'll see.

Jacobs new sponsor - Beretta

So I told you I would post a few pictures of our friends son, Jacob, he is doing well in his Shooting Competitions - just won another match in New Mexico. You can see some of my photos of him on the Beretta web page as well - kind of cool even though I don't have a photo credit - I still know they are mine :)

Last day of summer vacation and the first day of school

Wow that went by fast - can't believe we are back in school routine mode already. Not ready for 9 months of getting up early everyday :(

The kids have been playing with their slip and slide every day - it has been warm since the monsoons took a break.

Addi started first grade today. Mrs. Cassidy is her new teacher - she seemed pretty happy to go. Has missed some of her school friends we didn't see too much over the summer - this is Addi with her friend Reese (who she insists is her sister).

Summer Over

Can't believe that summer is truly coming to an end. Little Addi starts first grade on Monday, not sure what Bryton and I will do with ourselves all day. Summer went by too quickly. Swim lessons ended today as well. Was so glad I grabbed a few photos of them in the pool - Bryton was actually diagnosed with swimmer's ear and therefore missed the last couple days of class. So happy I got this photo of him hanging on the pool deck - how he spent his time in class waiting for the next activity.
